| The Malden Cyclones Midget team competed along with many other talented cheering teams in Disney at the National Cheer and Dance Competition in Orlando, Florida. Spirits were high and smiles were everywhere. The Malden Pop Warner Cheerleaders dedicated five months of practice, and competed at four local competitions to make it to Disney. The Midget team earned the Eastern Massachusetts title, Regional Championship title, and is now the national champions. On Friday, Dec. 10, the Midget team took the mat with pride and confidence. They performed with excellence and hit a perfect routine. They showed the crowd what cheering is all about. After their amazing performance, they were named national champions. These girls have worked extremely hard to make it this far and they showed us in Disney what dreams are really made of. Hats off to the coaches, who spend many hours making up routines, preparing the team for practice and volunteering their time. All of this couldn't have happened without them, they are all amazing people and great coaches. CONGRATS!! |
